On September 2nd, 2016 a special MagicBand was released, sold only at the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! paid event in the Magic Kingdom. This MagicBand is Limited Edition to 3000 (from 4000 in 2015, and 5000 in 2014), as Disney has had trouble selling all of the bands at previous parties. Hopefully this will make them a bit more exclusive. It comes in a special box and does make lights and sounds at FastPass+ touch points only in the Magic Kingdom. Price was $32.99 each.
