Promotional MagicBands are bands that have been given away to guests, media/press, important clients, cast and employees inside Disney, and/or more. The bands on this page cannot and have never been available for purchase, and if you’d like to obtain one, eBay is pretty much the only place you can find them occasionally. Some of the bands are easy to find, and some are extremely rare and valuable in the collector’s market. Each band’s webpage will have details about where the band was given away and how it was obtainable, as well as any important additional details.
No MagicBands on this page make any special effects at touch points within Walt Disney World as far as I know. The Disney Cruise Line MagicBands do unlock some special items when used with the now discontinued Disney Infinity video game.
Some of these bands were given away as Link-It Later, and some were linked to a person’s account before being given to them. These bands are not to be confused with test or prototype bands, which I have another page for. These are real, currently working, official MagicBands. The bands do not have a Disney barcode or external SKU.
